Ingredients

All ingredients (except crystals) are food-grade, however, are not intended for consumption.

Our products can include a magical mix of ingredients, such as, baking soda, citric acid, food colors, edible mica powders, herbal flowers, edible glitter and small natural crystals. 

For our coeliac friends, our products are gluten-free, but may have been processed in a facility that handles gluten. We advise thorough handwashing after play and before eating. Our daughter who is a very sensitive coeliac, has no issues playing with our potions. 

Eco-Friendly

We're committed to eco-friendliness wherever possible. Here's how you can dispose of the items in your kit responsibly:

• Potion Ingredients bag - Made from cellulose - Home compostable.
• Potion Ingredients - All food-grade ingredients - Can be home composted or washed down the drain. However, the glitter in our potions are not compostable. We had to choose between compostable or food-grad at this stage. To keep the glitter out of the waterways, we encourage you to pop a paper towel over a sieve and sieve the ingredients slowly over the paper towel. You will then collect the glitter to dispose of in your household trash and pour the remaining liquid onto your garden or down the drain.  Alternatively, you can drain the potion over your garden or grass for a sparkly effect that will distribute over time. 
• Magical Hue and Fizzy Delight Stickers - Made from uncoated paper - Home compostable or recyclable
• Sparkle & Spell Co. Gold Sticker - Please dispose of in your house hold trash.
• Courier Bag - Made from non-virgin plastic - Can be turned inside out and used again, wet bags or doggy bags. seedling bags etc. Or recycle in soft plastics recycling. View the stores participating in this NZ scheme here. 
• Paper/Cardboard etc - Please recycle.
